Mid-Week Weddings - The Most Awesome Idea Ever.

Unless you’ve recently moved to the moon, you’re probably aware that there’s this little thing called the Coronavirus going around and it’s come along and disrupted the entire wedding industry, big time!

Hundreds of couples have been dealt an unfair blow and are being forced to postpone their special day for weeks, and potentially many months to come.

While couples are now scrambling to reschedule their special day to later in they year, or even  earlier in future years, we’ve been hearing that they’re coming across the same issue: the venue date is already taken! BOO.

So, what to do?!

Weekday Weddings!

Don’t fear, weekday weddings are actually wonderful things, and being forced to consider midweek days and Sundays to party down is secretly awesome.

We love them, your guests love them, and they’re a little untapped gem of an opportunity that most couples don't tend to think about.

Here’s why:

  1. Guests get a mini holiday! When you’re booking on a Wed/Thurs or Sunday, most people make the most of the whole week/weekend and have a damn good time doing so! Get busy on the big day and recover for the next few days. It’s genius.

  2. Relaxed vibes! Think back to the last time you were on holiday, floating in a pool, sipping on a cocktail and thinking about all the rest of the world slaving away at their desks – the same feeling applies when you get married midweek. (Truly, it does!)

  3. A Saturday is, like, so cliche. Obviously *eye roll* (LOL)

  4. The best suppliers, who are fully booked on weekends, will most likely be available midweek and free to give you the wedding of your dreams.

Wednesdays break up the week, Thursdays equal a super long and awesome weekend, and Sunday weddings have a beautiful and relaxed lead up. Don’t be disappointed, you’re actually gonna love it! Take a weekday, get married, and keep the party rolling through the weekend. It's a win for everybody!

We know it’s probably not what you had planned, but don’t stress about it. It’s gonna be brilliant.

Love, OB xox
