Oberon Lane's response to Coronavirus:

Well, what a crazy time this is! You’re probably not surprised to hear that with all this Coronavirus chaos everywhere, we've had heaps and heaps of people getting in touch about what they can do to reschedule.

Firstly, we want to let you know that we will NOT be charging any change-of-date fees, cancellation fees, or any other weird rescheduling fees. We firmly believe that this is the time that we all need to work together and do the right thing by one another, and while we all need income to pay the bills, it’s not the time to put couples in a tougher spot than they already are – emotionally or financially.

Our thoughts at this stage* are, we’re 100% happy to do whatever is required to make this work for you. It's your big day and we want you to be happy, so we're here to work with you.

1. We can postpone if we have to and shift the date – this is fine. We'll 100% go ahead on the current date if it's fine to do so. We’re happy either way.

2. If we're not available on the new date, we'll have one of our other great duos who do the same package available for you to choose from.

3. If you're not happy with the new artist, we can at that point refund you and you can shop elsewhere. (Important note: keep in mind that if a lot of weddings are postponed/moved to a later date in the year, then there will be a massive musician shortage for these packages. The sooner you know your plan, the sooner we can lock something great in.)

4. Most of our artists are willing to go ahead with their current bookings at this stage, on the condition that the event adheres to the government’s current guidelines. Our artists will be doing everything they can to protect themselves and others (i.e. keeping a safe distance from all guests and staff, no direct physical contact, etc.) but are happy and willing to be there.

We have your back with this, and we’re hoping you guys have ours. Our industry and livelihoods are going to be massively impacted by this, but we’re determined to strive to do everything we can to make this as easy as possible. We’re thinking of you all in this extremely difficult time. We are all in this together.

Sending lots of love,

Oberon Lane
