Why the Acoustic + DJ package is so popular!

One of our most popular wedding packages is our signature Acoustic Solo/Duo/Trio + DJ Package – we’ve booked over 500 of these in the last few years. But many people still have questions about what it means and what the benefit is.

Okay, so what is the main benefit of this package?
Glad you asked! The main benefit is that you get the same supplier (musicians) for both jobs (live music + DJ).

In our experience, having multiple suppliers performing similar roles can be a real headache, particularly with music. The Acoustic Solo/Duo/Trio + DJ Package has made it possible for the same people to provide all your music needs on the day.

Sounds great! But why is this easier than hiring a separate DJ?
Simple!

  1. You’re paying for two people’s time instead of three.
The DJ will need to be set up at the reception venue before guests arrive, so even if you want acoustic music for your ceremony, the other supplier (DJ) will be charging you for their time from when they have to arrive on-site – unless you’re okay with a DJ setting up gear around your guests (not ideal!).

  2. All the audio comes through the same equipment.
If you have a seperate DJ, there will be four speakers instead of two, so much more space is required.

  3. Less for you to organise.`
One less supplier to liaise with. One email chain. One less thing to worry about!

That makes sense, but how do I know your DJs can cut the mustard?
We’ve trained up our DJs to absolutely rock a dance floor with all the wedding hits you can possibly imagine. And being talented all-round musicians, their instincts are on-point. So while they’re “cutting the mustard”, you’ll be busy cutting sick shapes on the dance floor ;)

Okay, one last time… Why should I consider this package?
If you’re after a perfect mix of live acoustic tunes and a pumping dance floor that’s cohesive and logistically simple, we highly recommend this package. It’s two people, with the same equipment, providing super high-quality entertainment, all day – all right!
